Kuroobiya Privacy Policy

At Kuroobiya, we take your privacy very seriously. We are committed to keeping your information private and will never sell or pass your details to third parties for any purpose other than the creation of shipping labels (see below).

Personal Data Storage Your personal data (Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and Order History) is saved securely by Kuroobiya on our server. You retain full access to your data and have the right to request its removal at any time.

Marketing Communication We use your information primarily for processing orders. We will only send you newsletters or marketing emails if you have explicitly requested them by signing up for our newsletter.

Shipping & Third-Party Sharing

• Manufacturer Direct Shipping: In very rare circumstances, we may need to provide your address to a manufacturer to send specific products directly to you. We will only do this after confirming with you first. Following delivery, we will request that the manufacturer delete their record of your shipping details.
• Japan Post (EMS / e-Packet): If you choose a Japan Post shipping method, your shipping details will be securely registered on the Japan Post website via our server to generate your shipping label. Japan Post’s privacy policy states they will not use your details for any purpose other than printing labels, sending shipping updates, and electronic customs registration. Once your parcel has been shipped, we manually erase your shipping label data from their website. You will continue to receive tracking emails from them until delivery, and you may be contacted by customs officials in your country if necessary. Records of the shipment are removed by Japan Post after six months.
• DHL: If you select DHL, we use your details to create your shipping label. Please note that both a phone number and email address are mandatory for DHL shipments. These will be used by DHL to send tracking updates and to contact you regarding customs and duties. DHL deletes shipping records after six months.

Payment Security Credit card details are NOT passed on to us or stored on our servers. All payments are handled securely by PayPal or Square, depending on the method you choose. We have no access to your credit card numbers or account details. Please refer to PayPal or Square's privacy policies for details on their data handling.

Information Disclosure We keep all your records and communications private. We will not disclose your information unless officially requested by:

1. You (the customer).
2. Law enforcement officials or fraud investigators.
3. PayPal or Square arbitrators in the case of a dispute. In the event of an official request (e.g., from law enforcement), we will inform you of the request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so (e.g., in specific criminal cases).

Cookies Our website requires that the visitor's computer accept a "session cookie." This cookie contains only a session ID number, which distinguishes you from other visitors. It contains no personal identity information and is anonymous; a third party cannot use it to identify you.

The session cookie expires when you close your browser or after a predefined period of inactivity. This ID is used strictly to recognize your actions during your visit, such as keeping items in your shopping basket, verifying your login status, and allowing you to proceed through checkout.

Meta Pixel Our website uses "Meta Pixel" for conversion tracking. This allows Facebook/Meta to analyze the effectiveness of any ad campaigns we run on their platforms. Please refer to Meta's data policy for information on how they use this data.
