The following only affects US customers:

As noted in the media and announced by President Trump, the US government is suspending Duty Free De Minimus from all countries around the world as of August 29,2025.

What this means is that anything you buy from us or any online retailer outside of the US is now due customs duties.

This will likely continue until either 1) the Supreme Court decide that the president exceeded his remit in issuing such an executive order  2) The president changes his mind 3) The next election.

The tariff rate for Japan and Japanese goods is set at 15%. Please note that some goods (such as bags and T-shirts for example) are not made in Japan and may be subject to different tariff rates, even though they are being shipped to you from Japan).

As noted in our Conditions of use, all customers are responsible for paying duties (if any), upon importing the goods into their country no matter where they live, and acceptance of this is a condition for purchasing on our website.

Please note that we cannot cancel or refund orders that have already been processed with the manufacturers, and will not refund any items returned due to failure to pay duties.
