Important Security Update from Kuroobiya

To our valued customers and the martial arts community,

At Kuroobiya, we hold the trust you place in us with the highest regard. We are writing to share the results of a recent security audit following a targeted intrusion on our server between May 11 and May 13, 2026.

The Audit Results

We have worked with security experts to perform a full forensic analysis of our systems. We are pleased to report the following findings:

• No Bulk Data Theft: There is no evidence that our customer database was downloaded in bulk.
• Historical Orders are Secure: Our logs confirm that historical order records (placed prior to May 11) were not accessed by unauthorized scripts.
• System Status: Our server has been thoroughly purged of all malicious files, hardened against future threats, and is currently under 24/7 monitoring.

What You Need to Know

The incident was a localized attempt to "skim" new information during a brief 48-hour window. If you updated your account or placed an order between May 11 and May 13, please monitor your financial statements as a standard precaution.

WARNING: Phishing and Identity Theft

We have been made aware of fraudulent activity using the Kuroobiya name. Please be vigilant regarding the following:

1. Official Communications: We will ONLY contact you from our customerservice@kuroobiya.com email address. Please ignore any messages from Gmail, Hotmail, outlook or other providers claiming to represent us.
2. Fraudulent Solicitations: We are aware that several design and development companies have been contacted by individuals impersonating Kuroobiya. If you are a web agency or developer receiving such a request, please ignore it. We are not currently seeking new design or development partnerships.
3. Fake Links: Do not click on any "Calendly" or "Service Update" links sent from unofficial email addresses.

Moving Forward

Kuroobiya remains committed to the traditional Japanese martial arts and the people who practice them. We have updated all administrative security keys and implemented a "total lockdown" protocol to ensure your data remains safe.

We recommend that all customers reset their account passwords as a standard safety measure.
