I ordered the Hirota PINACK FOR KUMITE (READY MADE). Great dogi and superb fabric. I had the sleeves and trousers shortened and they came out excellent. You can't go wrong with this one. I also had my first name embroidered. Very nice, except somewhat different than the one done on my obi (but this was done by someone else), but thats okay, I guess it is because of the pronounciation. The service from Hamid was brilliant. I had read some reviews before I ordered and it is all true!! A real gentleman and he always answered my questions really quick and honest. I am ordering my next dogi or obi again at Kuroobiya.com!!! Too bad I can't choose 6 stars, though :-) !!
I received my first Hirota Pinack for Kumite and i tried it on, it was extremely light and felt a bit loose (material wise) but after i washed it it became nice and crispy which i really like. the pants stays on me and it doesn't fall down i haven't even tried to pull it up once during my training which amazes me and make me love this dogi more. i feel like i am not wearing any karate uniform and i can move freely thanks to Hamid and the team for all the help. looking forward to get my next Hirota gi. 15/May/2019 Ramin Sydney Australia
This to me is the perfect all-round Dogi: light enough for kumite and yet snappy and stiff enough to look and function great in both kata and kihon. I was not satisfied with the fit of my old Dogi and decided to talk to Hamid about sizing to get a taylor-made one. It turns out the Hirota Standard is actually perfect for me and I bought the ready-made one; it's a great cut, I suppose it fits most people well. Consider that the stitching on the bottom of the dogi jacket is a little different than the ones on other premium models and consists of only two rows of stitching, so keep that in mind if you prefer another look; I dont mind and think it looks very clean and is plenty stiff to keep a nice shape. I'm sure this will not be the last pinack kumite I'll buy!
