I just received my gi, and I like it quite a bit. Living in Arizona, one of the hottest states in the USA, I usually want a lightweight gi when I'm training. This gi is made of a soft and comfortable fabric with great stitching: obviously a high quality item. I was looking for a basic lightweight gi that was made with an eye for top quality, and that's what I got with this Hirota gi. I'm very satisfied.
Whether you're a beginner, or you're just in a hot place, this is a very good dogi for those two things. I sweat a lot during classes, and it holds up pretty well. The only down side in my experience is the fact that since it's so light, the uwagi hem tends to fold inward. This can get pretty irritating so beware, other then that, very comfortable and nice gi.
