Great new silk obi

Following grading to shodan I wanted to get a belt that would last me many many years. I also wanted it to come from Japan to add a bit of special meaning (after all I practice Shotokan karate). I found this belt at Kuroobiya. I chose “Tokaido BLH-XW Special 100% Silk Belt” and Hamid in Customer Service was super helpful and patient with a hundred questions I had about the belt, sizes, lettering and translations, shipping, etc. My excitement was contagious and a couple of other training partners ended up ordering the same belts.
The shipment come last week and the belts look as good as I hoped. The silk has a nice look to it but it is not too shiny as I saw from other local companies. The lettering is also great. Everyone is very happy.
I would absolutely recommend this site to others.
