The belt is constructed well and quality of embroidery in gold is excellent. I wasn't sure how it would compare with my Tokaido belt which lasted me 20 years but I must say that I am impressed with this belt. The silk on the belt has a nice sheen. I am glad I went for the 4.0 cm instead of 4.5 cm wide as it ties well and hangs down very nicely. I am sure it will serve me many years to come. I highly recommend this belt.
