Hello, I ordered my embroidered Tokaido silk belt on 15th May 2009 and it arrived in Hong Kong on June 3rd. Two days before arrival, I received an email notifying me of the Japan post office tracking number and link to its website. I was also very impressed with the online ordering process. Hamid replied very promptly to my many emails regarding Kanji characters and gave step-by-step instructions on filling out the order form. A painless procedure!

The belt is beautiful and outstanding. The gold embroidery is expertly stitched on and the silk for the belt itself is very nice. High quality, not too shiny like satin, but a sheer silk gloss. I compare this to my old belt (local brand) which is also silk with gold embroidery. The embroidery on my original belt goes all the way through to the other side and the silk is so shiny and tough that it looks and feels like satin. There is no comparison with the Tokaido. I am now off to order a new dogi!
